Formerly General Counsel for Rutherford Institute, an international legal organization specializing in the litigation of constitutional and civil rights issues (1985-1994); Oversaw litigation for international offices of the Rutherford Institute involving religious liberty issues; supervised constitutional litigation in all fifty states.
